NTT Research Fellowship

NTT Research Foundation has established a fellowship program for current PhD students pursuing full-time study in Biomedical Engineering or Photonics and Quantum Physics at research universities for the upcoming academic year.

The program is administered by Scholarship America,® the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individual programs is determined at the sole discretion of NTT Research Foundation, and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team. Awards for this fellowship are granted to eligible recipients without regard to creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, disability, or national origin.

Program Eligibility

Applicants to the NTT Research Fellowship must be currently enrolled as a full-time PhD student (3rd year or higher) in a program at one of the research universities throughout the coming academic year.

Be nominated by the Department Chair of each eligible program.

*Employees, and children of employees, of NTT Research, Inc. and NTT DATA, Inc. are not eligible to apply.

Selection of Recipients

Scholarship recipients are selected on the following bases:*

*Financial need is not considered. Recipients are selected by Scholarship America. NTT Research Foundation does not play a part in recipient selection. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. All applicants agree to accept the selection decision as final.
